Take a Selah moment and PRAISE
Hey! This is Elder Sister Debbie and I know that we have such diverse lives right now and we have probably made commitments and obligations and have circumferred ourselves in so many different areas that literally we're being pulled, right? "If one more person send me one more prayer across that phone...if another person sends me another GIF of a prayer or ask me can you join the link," and all that. I know...I know...I know, but let's not become sufferting concerning this or laid back or uncaring. I want to encourage you to spend time with God. Take that winding road. You know how sometimes you go on those long drives or you may be going to work and one of those road sections or part of the city just seems to have this one spot that it makes you kinda take a breath as you go through it. Well while you're taking that breath, why don't you grab hold of that peace at that moment...that which you gave you that breath...that "aahhhh...this is my favorite part of the ride. This is the favorite stretch. I love this scenery."
I want to encourage you. While you're going thru that time of sighing...that selah moment, won't you talk with Father. Say a few words. Just exalt and praise His name because remember as long as we keep our hands lifted up in worship, the battle is won. But the minute our hands go down, that's when defeat is inevitable. That's what happened with Moses. As long as they kept his hands lifted up, they won the battles. But the minute his hands would fall, that's when the enemy would gain ground. So you know what those who were in agreement with him did? They began to hold his hands up.
Listen...take time with God. Take that Selah moment and say, "You know, Father, I just wanna say thank you" or just take a breath and say "God thank you for the peace."
Take in that moment. That breakthrough moment and let it launch you into a day.
This is Elder Sister Debbie. Just giving a thought for a moment.
Amen.
